We had a wonderful experience. We were able to walk to a lot of activities. The host was very responsive and friendly. It was also great to have a parking spot.
Our party was at capacity at this lovely property in a quiet neighborhood of Charleston. So much was within walking distance, including the “start” of King Street. I highly recommend this property for families or larger groups visiting this beautiful city - especially if celebrating something special. The living room/dining room combination was great for relaxed laughing and fun, the backyard spacious, private and comfortable and the driveway perfect to park your car and forget about it. Street parking can be difficult but there are plenty of parking 🅿️ garages close by. The bedrooms are plentiful and roomy, and the beds comfortable. There’s a bathroom on each floor. The front porch is comfortable and private and a great place to sip coffee on a chilly morning while enjoying the quiet. Go to Charleston. And stay here!
We had the best time at the Blue Starfish for our family vacation. The amenities provided everything we would need to make for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Fully stocked kitchen, super comfortable beds, beach supplies, very clean, lovely water views from the balconies, and the elevator was such a helpful perk loading in and out. It was really nice to be tucked away in such a quiet and peaceful area. We enjoyed our short walks downtown and to the beach. And catching the sunrise from the rooftop deck was such a treat! Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back and visit!
Amazing house for a bach trip, amazing location and soooo much space- host was super responsive, she mailed us blankets unprompted when she didn’t have any around the house. Would definitely recommend for a girls group trip!!

This place was perfect for our visit to Charleston! We loved it! The location was so close to King Street which was where everything we wanted was located. We walked every morning to get our biscuits for breakfast and coffee too. Shopping was just around the corner as well! The rooms were clean, kitchen was perfect, and it was nice to have the entire place! Separate quarters made it perfect for our situation. We were right next to each other but had just enough separation at night when we needed a break. Definitely a place we will return to. Especially once the construction is complete! If you're looking for a nice place with a complete kitchen where you can eat at home comfortably if you don't want to go out, this is your place. We LOVED it. The hosts answered all questions very quickly. Can't wait to go back. And it looks just like the pictures!

This Airbnb is a GEM! Easily 5 stars. I recently brought my family here, and it was perfect! The unit is centrally located right on King Street—steps from restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. This unit maximized our stay in Charleston, because mostly everything was walkable. Perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The space itself is well designed with high-end finishes and a great layout, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. I work remotely and was able to sneak away while my family enjoyed the amenities. Truly had something for everyone. If you're looking to make the most of your time in Charleston, this is the kind of stay you want. Parking: While there’s no on-site parking, there are plenty of nearby paid options (average ~$25/day). Given the location, it’s worth it. You’d pay that anyway driving in daily. Noise: As expected in a lively downtown area, there’s some city noise, but nothing out of the ordinary. Didn't bother us at all. Highly recommend!
Had a wonderful time on our sister vacation. The house fit us perfectly, great views, cozy and comfortable, lots of places to sit and talk, felt like luxury. The town of Folly Beach was fun to shop and walk and eat. Charleston was an easy drive for a day shopping and eating there. Sunrise or sunset on the beach was only a 2 minute walk. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond. Definitely book this place for your next getaway!
Our stay here was wonderful. The home was spacious, clean, quiet, fishing friendly, responsive and close to anything you want or need to enjoy Charleston as well as the beach community here. It had all the essentials including salt, pepper, coffee, plenty of towels, etc. The smart T.V. had plenty of options and plenty of games were present to play.
Great place in walking distance to everything on King street! We loved that we could bring our dog who also enjoyed the city. They had a high chair and pack and play for our 6 month old too. Comfortable beds! Like other reviews mention, it’s near a hospital so frequent ambulance sirens, and the upstairs occupants could be heard walking and speaking, but nothing a sound machine couldn’t fix! Nearby bar fuel cantina was great for drinks on the walk home! Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great house in a great location. Just a block or two off King St and very close to College of Charleston. There is a pizza place, a seafood restaurant, a bar, a brunch spot, and a bagel shop within a one minute walk from the front door. The house is older, which is to be expected in downtown Charleston. With that comes small bedrooms, small bathrooms, low water pressure, and all those things that make your Charleston experience authentic. The house does have a small driveway for one vehicle which is a huge plus if you are driving.
Loved this home! It's located right in the middle of the action, but because it's removed from the street, it feels private and secluded. So many activities, phenomenal restaurants and sightseeing within walking distance - we had a great time exploring the neighborhood. The outdoor courtyard was the perfect place to relax and inside, the king bed upstairs is plush and comfortable. The unit was spotless and clean upon our arrival. Host was friendly and responsive before and throughout our stay. This place is a hidden gem and I can't wait to return!
Excellent location and beautiful house! The beds were very comfortable, the house was clean and everything was exactly as we expected. We walked downtown easily and also enjoyed walking to local restaurants and bars nearby. We really appreciated the private parking spot and excellent instructions and directions. The Eclipse is a beautiful historic house with all the modern amenities. Would absolutely stay here again!
Was a last minute booking, host was quick to respond and accommodating. Gave simple yet clear instructions. In the heart of downtown so easy access to anything we wanted, yet street was quiet and not crowded, perfect to relax when ready to settle in. Would book again! Lovely and comfy room!
