With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

3 story traditional Charleston style home. Although the location wasn’t exactly where we had hoped to be based on our plans & how Airbnb shows it on the map it was located close to some great coffee, restaurants, bars & king street.
The house was as expected. Plenty of space inside and in the 2 porches.
The driveway is EXTREMELY tight to get in/out. We did get blocked out at one point during our stay. Street parking is by the hour so luckily cars move frequently.
Host was very quick to respond. Lots of good information.
Great pizza shop 2 doors down, coffee a few past that and several more fantastic places to try in a fun neighborhood setting.
It can get loud to the outside but this didn’t bother us.

Offering parking is definitely a privilege in the historic area, and the homes able to offer it do tend to have narrow parking areas. Love the neighborhood. The house had two parking spots in back. And there is a parking deck nearby which was very convenient. We loved the outdoor space! Great water pressure in the bathrooms.

This was my first time in Charleston and I was so happy to find this place, it was so close to all the things we wanted to see. The house was spotless when we arrived and so cute, we had a large group and everyone felt so comfortable here. This place is great! Located behind King Street (the main road) where all the bars and restaurants are. My college friends got together and we loved the space. Michael was so responsive and helpful with any questions I had, he even included an itinerary of places go go/shop/eat at. 10/10 stay.

Working with Michael was very easy and he was quickly responsive. The home was neat and had old-time charm-just what we were hoping for in downtown Charleston. The home was clean and comfortable. We were easily able to walk everywhere we wanted to go except for a few Lyft rides to farther out restaurants. Great shopping! And pleasant weather, which was very unexpected. We made a last minute one stay in Michael’s house. It was a very easy experience and Michael was very responsive. I left something behind at the house and Michael immediately responded to the situation. The beds were awesome, as associated bathrooms were great. If you are looking for a place to sleep while exploring Charleston, I highly recommend this home - it is convenient to everything, well maintained and Michael is very accommodating. My only comment, which is not negative, just clarifying for those evaluating properties, is that there is not a convenient place to congregate in the house (for example - no dining room table for a sit down dinner).
