You'll be staying on the most lively and charming street Downtown! This is the FULL Charleston experience. Shops and restaurants just steps from your door, amazing architecture all around you, and the Historic Rainbow Row, Battery Park, and City Market just a few blocks' walk away. Some of the country's finest cuisine can be found in the neighborhood. FIG, 167 Raw, Zero George, Poogan's Porch, and HUSK just to name a few! Stroll down to Callie's Hot Little Biscuit (another Charleston Staple) to grab breakfast and a coffee.
You can walk almost everywhere downtown from the house, but should you want to rest your feet there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Charleston bike taxi & Charleston Rickshaw, green taxi or yellow cab are a few options. There is also a city-wide bike share program called Holy City Spokes, which is a very affordable way to rent bikes and enjoy the city!

Location, location, location! This place is in a prime location for a long weekend in Charleston. Walkable to everything you want do including King Street shopping, tons of great restaurants, and Marion Square (check out the farmers market every Saturday). And this was definitely the most responsive and helpful Airbnb host I've ever experienced. 10/10 would recommend.

Location, Location, Location ! Really cool spot in the heart of King street. Restaurants, bars, clubs and so much more within blocks of this pad. Old school, but fits the vibe.

I’m so glad we didn’t let the ‘loud noise’ reviews deter us from staying here!!! We had ZERO noise issues - and the bar was hoppin’ both nights we were there. A fan or noise machine is MORE than adequate. It was right on King St, but the entrance is super private and off of King - which made it feel as safe as it is. YourPad helped out with local recommendations for a surprise for a friend, and was super accommodating. I’m a picky person when staying somewhere as I paid for college by cleaning rentals/condos…and I can say that I have NOTHING to complain about. We will absolutely stay here again without hesitation!!! FANTASTIC location!!!!

I have to give this place 5 stars because almost everything was perfect. There was plenty of space for parking, the place actually get bigger than the pictures looked, it was stylishly decorated, clean and the instructions provided were incredibly detailed and easy to follow. There were also none of those annoying additional requirements like stripping beds and washing up that just made the trip that extra bit easier. The ONLY downside was that there is a bar next door which was pretty loud and was open until 2. Nonetheless all of my group managed to sleep - bring earplugs with you and it will be a great stay!

Everything was perfect, exactly as described. The problem was locating it, was told to turn at a 'pink" building and look for a white gravel driveway, but these landmarks were not visible at night. The front porch did not have a light on, which may have helped too. There is a cute bar next door, and giving that address/ landmark would have made a lot more sense. Other than the initial frustration, we loved it. The place is cute, and convenient, and we had a lovely weekend in Charleston!

This was the perfect spot for a girls weekend! The host was so sweet and welcomed us in with a card & bottle of wine knowing we were celebrating a bachelorette! The house is adorable, cute, spacious and just amazing!

John's place was perfect for our girls trip. The location cannot be beat. Being right on King Street we were able to walk to all of the restaurants and bars. The space is clean and extremely comfortable, we felt right at home. We would absolutely stay here again.

The space is beautiful and large! The location is great, right off King St. With the location comes some noise at night from a bar next door but that is King St for ya!

We were extremely satisfied with our booking. Communication was timely and the house was in a fantastic area. Walking distance from nearly all of the popular spots. If you’re a night owl, it’s in a fantastic location next to a hidden gem next door! If I find myself back in Charleston, I will try and stand here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights before a cruise out of Charleston! We could walk to Kings St and to the Charleston City Market to go shopping. We could also walk to get breakfast and dinner too. The location was great and only 5 minutes from the dock????

The apartment was in such a great location - central to shopping, restaurants, and bars. We didn’t know that Burns Alley bar was right next door, which could be problematic for those who want a quiet night, but the owner has left white noise machines in each of the bedrooms. We also embraced the location and went to Burns Alley every night - it was a fun little dive bar with great live music and karaoke. Anyway, back to the apartment… what a cool charming place! The big upper floor bedroom was really fun for our girls trip. The exposed brick and decor was so pretty and fun. We really loved the space. Loved that we didn’t have to strip beds, start laundry, or do dishes when checking out. Also great to have the dedicated parking downtown. Water pressure wasn’t great and there was scaffolding on the porch, so we couldn’t use it, but all in all, we really loved our stay and would definitely come back!!!

We do offer sound machines in all bedrooms that help with the light city sounds, that come with being in the perfect location. Nice to know it did not take away from your stay.
