Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

The experience started with responsive communication before the check in date. I always expect that larger Airbnb rentals may photograph well but in reality they've taken a beating from the large number of people staying in them, and I have to say that not only did this place look better than the photographs, but it was very clean and had some high end finishes, too like real stone countertops in the kitchen. We found that there was a bathroom for every bedroom, the beds and the rooms were spacious, and the place had everything you need for your stay. We were thrilled to find out that by chance our event was only two blocks' walk from this location, and we were also very walkable to several shops, bars, and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here and would absolutely stay again in the future!

We had a great time! We had a group of 12 and had no issue staying comfortably. The parking is narrow, but you can certainly fit your car. We drove a truck and a suv. We would for sure stay here again

A really spacious house with 4 bathrooms, perfect for a group of girls! We had 10 stay here and it still felt comfortable and all of us were able to fit in the living room and kitchen at the same time. Michael was extremely prompt responding to my questions and let us check out at 11am! He also has a nice place to storage unit for your suitcase if you had later flights. There was some construction around us but it didn’t bother us because we were only there for the weekend. Location was very close to King Street; overall really great stay!

We just got back from Charleston just yesterday. We were 9 of us including 3 kids and all of us had a memorable pleasant stay. This particular place is walking distance to two famous streets, King St and Meeting St. both known for restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. Michael is a great host, very responsive, made check-in and check-out process very easy. This place has a ton of amenities which will make your stay very comfortable and not to forget free parking.

This is incredibly convenient for so much of the Charleston nightlife and eateries. The accommodations were comfortable for our 12 guests—we spent one night in and the living room/kitchen is comfortably communal. Michael is an incredibly accommodating host and responsive. Cute decor, beautiful older building (historical!).

This place is all about location! Amazing location. Our group was able to walk everywhere we wanted to go on king st. Saved us so much money on Ubers. Michael was very good about messaging me instructions/recommendations/checking in. Also had a great bedroom/bathroom set up. The only somewhat downfall is the driveway. It is incredibly tight and somewhat of a stressor to get in and out of. But in my opinion, everything else about the house is worth the stay.

On-site parking is not common at historic homes and when it is, the spaces can be very narrow. We're always happy to offer an alternative space when we can as well. Michael was incredibly responsive whenever I needed anything (and I needed multiple things ha). His place was clean and convenient. The only downside was the construction across the street but even that was totally manageable on days when they were working. I would stay here again any time I’m in Charleston! Perfect for a large group 🙂
