Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

Wow. Just wow. That’s what all of us said when we walked in. Even my 2 year old granddaughter!
Absolutely comfortable and welcoming. Also- I must say the charm and history that is felt here is warm and felt throughout the entire home. The decor. Michael’s home is decorated stunningly

Loved everything about the house, thanks for letting us stay with you. Only negative feedback I have is that the downstairs and upstairs hallway bathrooms have little to no water pressure out of the sinks, and the downstairs toilet sticks when flushing, causing it to run until you manually flip the plunger inside the toilet.
Neither are a huge deal, just a heads up.

Fantastic property - great location in the thick of all of the King Street action with some great restaurants within a short walk ( but never got noisy at night ).Private and secure off street parking was a massive bonus and the high quality furnishings , amenities and space were really impressive . All in all a great stay .

If you want to have a Charlestonian experience, this is a place to be. They have kept the historic charm while at the same time, provided modern amenities to make it a memorable/comfortable stay. The house is located close to good restaurants and to the major attractions Charleston has to offer. Private parking is a plus. Michael was quick to respond to our queries and provided us with useful information on things to do. Overall, highly recommend this place

We really enjoyed our stay for a mother/daughter girls trip. Lots of space and options for seating areas. Location was convenient. The amenities were great. We didn’t have any problems so there wasn’t much of a need for communication. We were able to get in a little early since cleaning was complete.

As great as the pictures are, it was even more impressive in person. The location was so good we never needed an Uber, and there is a great coffee/pastry/bagel shop close by. Comfortable and clean, hope to stay again!

We stayed here for a bachelorette trip and it was perfect. The house is stunning and looks exactly like the pictures. There are so many pretty rooms to hang out in and it’s super walkable. We walked to a cute coffee shop in the mornings and King St. was super easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again!

The property and location couldn’t have been better! Downtown Charleston is a wonderful place. The house was precious and the host was very accommodating! Everything was so clean and comfortable. There is plenty of areas to hangout with your group, drink wine and chat! Having a private driveway was a major plus. We’ll definitely be back!
